主要用于測量高壓工業(yè)絕緣材料的介質(zhì)損失角的正切值及電容量。主要可以測量電容器、互感器、變壓器、絕緣紙、電容器薄膜等各種電工油及各種固體絕緣材料在工頻高壓下的介質(zhì)損耗（tgδ）和電容量（ Cx），其測量線路采用“正接法”即測量對地絕緣的試品。由于電橋內(nèi)附有一個2500KV的高壓電源及一臺高壓標準電容器，并將副橋和檢流計與高壓電橋有機的結(jié)合在一起，特別適應測量各類絕緣油和絕緣材料的介損（tgδ）及介電常數(shù)（ε）。
